Before entering intellectual property law, Toke Kövener worked in the world of particle accelerators and ion sources. He studied physics in Hamburg, where he already gained experience in accelerator research at DESY, which is also based in Hamburg. He completed his doctoral thesis at CERN near Geneva, where he also carried out research on a heavy ion source as part of a subsequent fellowship. Toke now makes use of his ability to document even technically complicated issues in an understandable way when drafting Patent Applications and supervising them during the Grant Procedure.
