In order to gain the necessary practice for admission as a European Patent Attorney, he moved to a firm in Eastern Switzerland as a patent engineer, where he gained patent law experience in a wide range of technical fields. He has been contributing this experience to Keller Schneider Patent- und Markenanwälte AG (Bern) since 2009.

High-precision practitioner

As a biochemist by training, it is in Stephan Kessler’s DNA to think his way into tiny, abstract structures that are invisible to the naked eye. In addition to office hours, he enjoys doing practical work, whether it’s making a small piece of furniture, tending the garden or trying out new cooking recipes. Stephan also enjoys diving into new technical areas with curiosity to gain a basic understanding of different fields.
